At Voodoo Firearms, every business decision we make is guided by the values that built this company: integrity, accountability, and supporting the independent firearms community.
After careful consideration, we have decided not to renew our dealer relationship with Palmetto State Armory when our current dealer agreement expires in September. In addition, Voodoo Firearms will no longer accept dealer transfers originating from Palmetto State Armory.
We understand this decision may inconvenience some of our customers, and we did not arrive at it lightly. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
Our decision is based on our evaluation of Palmetto State Armory’s business practices and the direction we believe the firearms industry is heading. In our opinion, the long-term health of the Second Amendment community depends on maintaining a strong network of independent firearms dealers who provide knowledgeable service, personalized support, and local advocacy.
We are concerned that the increasing market power of a handful of very large retailers can make it difficult for smaller independent dealers to compete. While every company has the right to compete aggressively, we believe consumers are best served when there is a healthy marketplace that includes local gun stores—not one dominated by only a few national retailers.
Independent dealers do far more than process transactions. We provide firearm safety education, concealed carry training, warranty assistance, gunsmithing referrals, community events, charitable support, and knowledgeable, face-to-face service that cannot always be replicated by a large online retailer.
We recognize that many customers have had positive experiences with Palmetto State Armory, and this statement is not intended to criticize those customers. This is simply a business decision that reflects the values of Voodoo Firearms and the companies we choose to support.
Our commitment remains unchanged: to offer quality products, honest advice, fair pricing, and exceptional service while supporting manufacturers and distributors whose business philosophies align with our own.
